| Martha and Dmitry go home tonight.
Sigh, I am going to miss that
handsome, sexy Russian man. Man, could those legs ever move. Did I
already mention that he has got to be one of the best looking Russians
that I have ever had the pleasure to behold? Not to mention, I love his
style of dance. People should appreciate it more ^^.
I don't know if
it's just me, or if it's just this season of the show, but in my
opinion, dancers seem a whole lot friendlier and less diva-ish than
singers. Am I exagerrating? Well they just seem nicer.
Ian
came home with a modern rendition of a mohawk today. Needless to say
Papa was certainly not happy with it. And of course I start worrying.
But i discovered today that what I worry most about is that Ian is not
strong enough or wise enough to let the comments roll off his back. I
am glad to admit that I am wrong on this. My brother is strong - and
yes it may be biased for me to mention - but Ian Patrick is also one of
the best people I know and I am extremely proud to call him my brother.
I am going to miss him very very much.
BUT
no tear works yet. I have two weeks and a farewell speech to work on.
Count on Filipinos to make a farewell party bigger than it should be.
Or in this case, my mama.
I bought a book at Chapters today.
I've been meaning to get it all week. Do any of you know of Paulo
Coelho? I think his most popular work was The Alchemist, which I really should read after. But the book I bought was By The River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept:A Novel of Forgiveness
and what caught me good was the opening paragraph, and I want to share
it here so whoever lands on this can experience the art of Coelho.
By
the river Piedra, I sat down and wept. There is a legend that
everything that falls into the waters of this river - leaves, insects,
the feathers of birds - is transformed into the rocks that make the
riverbed. If only I could tear out my heart and hurl it into the
current, then my pain and longing would be over, and I could finally
forget - prologue, page 1. | | |
| NOOO they are breaking up the dance couples in SYTYCD and they have to
pick them randomly every week!! No more Donyelle & Benji or Allison
& Ivan (and those two were beginning to grow on meeeeeee).
Dagnabbit, Dmitry ended up staying and they sent Musa home. T_T
(okay fine I will admit that I did like looking at Dmitry's lovely abs
while he was jiving across the floor...woooo)
Ahhh gotta love la t幨?/font>
folks. This is what it does to you. It makes you coo coo in the head
and you somehow end up screaming like a lunatic at the screen, yelling
out declarations of love to people you will probably never ever meet. (I you BENJI!!!!!!)
Crazy, I know.
Now pardon me while I get me some Ritalin....

Okeys now. I am back. After watching Benji and Donyelle dance a broadway routine from "Hairspray". Can I stress enough how much I love those two? Yeah. Um.
I LOVE THEM!!!!!
Cursed American show, us Canadians have no right to vote. Which is all fair and all but stillllll. Alright now, put your tranquilizer darts away, I have locked my fangirl in its cage.
I
think I am going to hit the hay early today. During work the poor
gerbil kept falling off the wheel. Or as Kuya Glen put it, it fell off
the wheel and died.
Soooo I shall dream of dancing. And hope
that I can dance again (or try to) and bring back that feeling the year I was a member of the UBC
Dance Club. Those were awesome times. I wonder where my partner is now.
Sig hasn't been online in ages. If he didn't go to Japan for exchange
the following year, we would have gone onto the next level! But alas!
No point looking back! Forward hoooo!!!
(x-posted with the LJ - Didn't I say this was going to happen?!!? Didn't I?!?!?)

This is my out of nowhere expression of gratitude.
I
have to say that I have the most awesome predecessor and am very lucky
to have her to ask pesky questions. THANK YOU Capt. Jane!
oh but
she doesn't have to put up with me alone! I also have another senpai.
Mark - who has filled me in on things that I haven't even CONSIDERED.
And who will probably end up being my Tech Support when I am there LOL!
I
truly do not know where I would be or what state I would be in if I
ended up going without the wise advice of such awesome senpais!
Thank you. 本当に感謝しておりますわ~

| Virtually over night, I became a Dashboard Confessional fan. Wow.
Went
to Metro to track down their latest cd and came out with one of their
older ones as well (and four underwear from American Eagle! Yay! ahahha)
Gosh
I want to play the guitar, but last week I broke the G-string when I
accidentally tightened it too much. For that deed the said string
lashed out on one of my fingers and got blood in return for being
broken. Heh. | | |
